Kūhiō Park

Our Kūhiō Park Neighborhood is Growing!

Phase 1 of the Kūhiō Park Low-Rise redevelopment is currently underway. Phase 1 will deliver four new residential buildings near the School Street entrance, and is targeted for completion in mid 2028.

This effort is the first stage of a larger, multi-phase redevelopment, to redevelop Kuhio Park Low Rises with up to 650 new affordable housing rental units.. The new homes have been designed to serve local families and will accommodate households earning between 30% and 60% of Area Median Income, with a unit mix ranging from studios to four-bedroom apartments. The architecture incorporates cultural design elements reflective of the surrounding community, supporting a safe, connected residential environment.
