The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation
Our founder and CEO, Michael J. Levitt has embedded in our corporate culture a deep commitment to “giving back.” Foremost in this effort is enhancing educational opportunities for residents in our affordable and military housing communities. Scholarship recipients receive grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000, which can be used toward educational expenses at any accredited college, university, or vocational training school in the nation. Scholarships are awarded annually, and students may reapply each year of their education for continuing grants. Since its founding in 1991, The Michaels Organization Educational Foundation has awarded over $12 million in scholarship funds to high-achieving students across our military and affordable housing communities.

Social Services Support from Better Tomorrows
Our strategic partnership with the nonprofit organization Better Tomorrows enables us to offer a diverse range of supportive services to our affordable housing communities. Better Tomorrows focuses its programming on four key outcome areas: financial stability, educational success, health and wellness, and building strong communities.
